TERMS OF USE

These sites are run by DataDrift on behalf of the Lightning Rod fan admins. They're an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with the AFL, AFLNT, the NTFL, any club, or any official Northern Territory AFL bid. Club names and logos belong to their owners.

• One account per person, in your own name and with your own email address.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

This covers forum posts, player updates and photos, library suggestions, and the name you show on the public supporter list. Don't post or send anything that:

• is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harasses anyone, including players, umpires and officials;
• is false or misleading about a real person;
• shares someone else's personal details (address, phone, workplace) without their permission;
• is spam, advertising, or illegal; or
• breaks someone else's copyright or other rights.

Moderators can edit, hide or remove anything, and decline any update, without giving a reason.

When you send a photo (for example, for a player profile), you confirm that:

• You're allowed to share it. You took it yourself, or whoever owns it has given you permission to share it and for us to publish it.
• It isn't copied from a club, league, media outlet, photographer or social media account without their permission. A photo being online doesn't make it free to use.
• The person pictured is happy for it to be published (or, if they're under 18, their parent or guardian is).

You keep ownership of your photos. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish them on these sites (cropped or resized as needed) for as long as they're up. A moderator checks every photo before it appears, but you remain responsible for having the right to share it.

If something here is yours and was posted without your permission, or you're a player (or a player's parent or guardian) and want a photo or detail removed, email admin@lightningrod.com.au with a link to it and why. We'll take it down promptly while we look into it.

Match statistics come from official match records and may contain errors. News items link to and summarise other sites, whose content belongs to them. We do our best to keep everything accurate but can't guarantee it.

The sites are provided as they are, for free. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss from using them or relying on what's on them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the sites means you accept the current terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
